Leslie Tseladikae, AIISA

Chartered Insurance Brokers is pleased to announce the appointment of Leslie Tseladikae as the new Head of Insurance.

Mr. Tseladikae brings over 17 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a proven track record of success in building high-performing teams and driving business growth. In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Chartered Insurance Brokers’ insurance business, including Sales, Distribution, Operations and Client Relations.

In his previous roles as a Regional Sales Manager, and that of a Business Development and Stakeholder Manager, Leslie led a strong team of Sales Managers and distribution partners, successfully managing portfolios across all business segments, from Affluent to Micro-insurance and Mass Markets. Ensuring a well-rounded understanding of client needs.

Prior to his sales and distribution leadership roles, Mr. Tseladikae honed his skills as an Operations Manager, spearheading retail strategy development, project management, and business analytics. His strategic planning, strong believe in coaching, and data-driven decision-making abilities have been instrumental in his success which will be useful in ensuring optimal results for CIB and its clients.

Academically, Leslie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Public Administration from the University of Botswana, along with industry-specific qualifications like COP in Life Insurance, ICIBS, an Associate member of Insurance Institute of South Africa (iiSA) and a Post Graduate Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management. This blend of academic and practical knowledge, coupled with industry experience, positions him as a well-rounded leader in the insurance landscape.

CIB optimistic of growth

The growth story of Chartered Insurance Brokers (CIB) can at best be described as meteoric. Listening to the founding Managing Director, Ronald Ketshabe narrating the company’s humble beginnings, one gets a sense that, the insurance broker indeed was established by forward looking men and women.

“During the early years of its operation-CIB was babysat within More Power Investments (its shareholder). As we speak today, eight years later, the company is now a full-fledged insurance broker, with a complete Board of Directors, Management and Staff,” Ketshabe, who has been with CIB since day one, told Botswana Guardian in an exclusive interview. / read more

Chartered Insurance Brokers (CIB), a leader in the insurance brokerage sub-sector on Wednesday announced it has acquired Exclusive Insurance Solutions effective 1st February 2024.

According to a statement, the transaction which has already been approved by Non-Bank Financial Institution Regulatory Authority (NBFIRA), has resulted in a 100 percent shareholding stake in Luxiant Services trading as Exclusive Insurance Solutions (EIS). As a result, full operations shall transfer to CIB including the full insurance book and some key staff members. / read more
